The Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) has scheduled its national signing day for Monday June 1, 2015. On that day all 12 teams will be able to sign their new recruits and veterans for the 2015 season which begins in the BCFC on Saturday July 25.
The date of June 1 was picked as all teams have concluded their spring camps and players have been able to attend as many camps as possible.
When a player signs he signs with that particular team for 2015 but is also property of that team for the 2016 season as well.
Teams can sign as many players as they want, but on September 15 they must declare their protected list of 65 players. Any players over the 65 are automatically released and can sign with any other team, but not until June 1, 2016 as teams can not add any new registrations after September 15 of this year.
