Football Canada talks with Western Mustangs Head Coach Greg Marshall on the eve of the team’s game versus Acadia Axemen at the 2017 Uteck Bowl.

Marshall represented Canada on several occasions on the international stage.  In 2011, he served as Offensive Coordinator of Team Canada at the 2011 Senior Men’s World Championship in Austria. Moreover, Marshall was Offensive Line Coach of Team World 2010 but moved onto the Head Coach spot in the subsequent two years (2011, 2012).  As Head Coach in 2012, he guided Team World to an International Bowl victory over Team United States.  It was Team United States’ first defeat in international competition.

In this interview, Marshall discusses the Mustangs’ preparations for the national semi-final, his insight on the Mustangs, their opponent Acadia Axemen as well as USports and the growth of football in Canada.
