Football Canada Schedules AGM + Call for Board of Directors Applications
Ottawa, ON (May 26, 2020) – Football Canada has rescheduled the 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM will take place over a two-week period from mid-June to early July via video conference.
On June 17, 2020, the meetings will open with the Provincial Sport Organizations (PSOs) President’s Meeting at 7:00 p.m. EST. Then, the PSO Executive Directors’ meeting will take place on June 19, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. EST. On June 27, 2020, the members and Board of Directors plenary session will begin at 2:00 p.m. EST.
The AGM will wrap up the two-week meetings on July 2, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. EST.
Given the circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic and public health directives, Football Canada had to readjust the logistics of the AGM.
“We will ensure we have the time to engage with our members on the agenda, connecting a community which is 9,300 kilometres wide,” Football Canada president Jim Mullin said.
“Nothing will replace gathering together in a host city, but we are looking forward to having productive discussions over the month of June with all of our members.”
The AGM was originally scheduled to be hosted by Football Newfoundland and Labrador. They are now planning to host the 2021 Football Canada AGM.

Football Canada is also seeking interested applicants to join its volunteer Board of Directors. The organization is looking for individuals with expertise in:
