Nova Scotia to play host to Men’s Flag National Team Qualifier
On April 26 and 27, Nova Scotia will host Saskatchewan at the East Hantz Sportsplex in a best of 3 games to determine who will represent Canada at the upcoming International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Flag Football World Championships to be played August 13-15, 2014 in Jerusalem, Israel.
Saskatchewan will be looking to dethrone a Nova Scotia team who have represented Canada at the past two IFAF Flag Football World Championships. In 2012, Canada placed 6th in a field of 16 in Sweden while in 2010 Canada nearly missed the podium with a 4th place finish on home soil in Ottawa.
