Team Canada standout returns
Ontario’s quest to repeat as national champion will get a boost as they return gold medal game offensive player of the game Jevante Stanley. The Brampton, Ontario native carried momentum into the under-18 game at the 2015 International Bowl earning player of the game honours in a 25-9 win over Team USA.
Host Quebec looks to regain top spot
As Saskatchewan did in 2014, this year’s host, Quebec will field two teams. Prior to a third place finish a year ago, Quebec captured three consecutive gold medals and will look to regain their top form as they return Brad Collinson as head coach after spending 2014 as a member of the Junior National Team coaching staff.
The road to the gold medal game will not be an easy one for the host province however Quebec returns two U18 International Bowl alumni of their own in running back, Samuel Makwanda and defensive lineman, Cheike Sidy Sow.
