Sr. Women’s Flag National Team

About

The Senior Women’s Flag National Team compete at a number of events on the international and national stages including The IFAF Flag Football World Championship (FFWC). The Flag Football World Championship is a bi-annual tournament for international 5-on-5 flag football competition featuring the top senior flag players from around the World. Canada’s Sr. Women’s Flag National Team last claimed a gold medal at this event in 2014.

In 2020, the top 24 senior women’s flag football players competed at the inaugural International Bowl Flag Championship in Arlington, Texas. The Top 24 players were selected from the 2019 Canadian Flag Football League (CFFL) National Championship. From this Top 24, fifteen players will be selected to form the Sr. Women’s National Team that will represent Canada at the 2020 World Flag Championship in Denmark.
