#SupporttheSport is Back and Better than Ever

Get ready for the second consecutive Support the Sport campaign but this time… it’s Sponsored by Team Nike! This year it’s bigger and better than ever with incredible prizes to be won, exciting announcements, interesting content, and loads of fun surprises planned throughout February 4^th to March 31st.

So, what is the Support the Sport Campaign? The goal of the campaign is to promote all the great things about football, such as the incredible coaches, players, talent, heartwarming stories, safety initiatives, the culture of football, funny moments, and loads more. Connecting the football community and bringing them all together to support the sport.

Interacting with the hashtag, #supportthesport will earn you “Support points”! At the end of each week for the months of February and March Football Canada will post a leaderboard of five individuals and three organizations who are leading in Support Points. The leading scorers by the end of the campaign will have the opportunity to pick from a collection of items that have been provided by our incredible sponsors.

How do you earn Support Points?

There are 4 ways to earn points:

20 Support Points each for Following our Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube

10 Support Points for creating a Post about Support the Sport (Include hashtag and Tag Football Canada)

5 Support Points for creating a Story about Support the Sport (Include Hashtag and Tag Football Canada)

2 Support Points for Commenting with #SupporttheSport on Football related Posts

What are the Prizes?

Three Organizations will be able to choose from a prize pool that includes:

• Volt Athletics Membership for a Year
• Athlete-era provides AQ Coach for a Year
• Gamestrat Sideline Replay system for a team within the organization
• Community Novice Coach E-learning Free

Three Individual winners will be able to choose from a prize pool that includes
