Winnipeg Rifles head coach Ryan Karhut to present at National Coaches Convention
Football Canada is proud to unveil Winnipeg Rifles head coach, Ryan Karhut as a presenter at the 2014 National Coaches Convention, July 11 in Saskatoon. Karhut will present on offensive systems.

In 2014, Karhut enters his second season at the helm of the Rifles and is only the four head coach in the clubs history.
Prior to joining the Rifles, Ryan coached two seasons at Kelvin High School serving as offensive coordinator including during the team’s 2012 Vidruk Division champion season.
Before getting into coaching Karhut played football for 22 years, all of which were spent on the offensive line. He played 5 years of junior football with the Edmonton Huskies prior to receiving a full scholarship to the University of Central Florida. He then later transferred to the University of Manitoba where he suited up for the Bisons from 2005-2007 and captained their 2007 Vanier Cup Championship team.
A fifth round CFL draft selection of the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2007, Karhut was eventually traded to Montreal and played parts of three seasons with the Alouettes.
